eXTra Builder is an app designed to expedite in-store sales and returns transactions. When lines are backed-up, eXTra Builder is used in conjunction with a supported device and printer to pre-build a transaction of all the items in a customer’s cart while they wait in line. Once all items are scanned, a special expedited transaction slip is then printed for the customer to hold on to. Once the customer reaches a register, they present the slip to the cashier instead of unloading their cart. The cashier then scans a special 2D barcode on the slip, and the entire transaction is automatically input into the register – saving valuable time for both the customer and the cashier.
